Cirno's Wild-Firing Snowball

**********************************************

■Greetings

Hello, this is Mi~ya.
Thank you for picking up “Mikan” this time.

I said last time that I would distribute a video work at C83──that was a lie.
(Well… only those who have seen “Nabeshiki” will understand…)

…I'm sorry that I keep muddying the waters like this,
but I made another mini-game this time
so that everyone who came to the venue could enjoy it.

■About the Work

This time, I borrowed characters drawn by Tetla-san and made a mini-game.
Hmm… Tetla-san's Cirno is charming and cute…

As for the game itself, it is a pseudo-shooting game with a pseudo-first-person perspective.
I made it with the goal of creating something you could play for one minute
in a very casual, thoughtless sort of way.
…That said, since the projectiles follow parabolic arcs,
if you try to aim properly,
you may find it difficult to line up your shots…

Personally, I like games with elements that evoke physical phenomena,
such as “inertia,” “elasticity,” and “gravity.”
(Such as ○○○○○, and ○○○○○○.)

Also, this time it is an homage to Kagi-san's
mole-whacking-style “Mokotan In-Shita o!?” series, which they have made several times.
I hope the BGM and direction give that away.

Incidentally, I originally wanted to incorporate even more elements inspired by “Time○ Crisi○,”
(such as hiding behind barricades)
and make the game more thrilling,
but unfortunately there wasn't enough time to add all that──truly a time crisis.

■Controls
The game is played using only the mouse.

Once the game starts,
hold down the left mouse button to charge power,
then release the button to launch a snowball.

After that, just keep shooting down fairies.

■Acknowledgments

I would like to express my gratitude and respect
to ZUN, the creator of the Touhou Project.
Thank you for always creating such enjoyable works.

To all the members of Meisou Potage,
Chari-san, who always helps us burn CDs,
and everyone who picked up this CD,
thank you very much.

My resolution for next year──to improve my life of being chased by deadlines.
(And to aim for a more regular lifestyle…)
